Course Overview

The Diploma in Salon Management is designed for owners or managers who wish to develop their skills in the overall operation of a business including Beauty salons, Spas and Hairdressing salons.

The course is designed to reflect the role of managers or owner managers who work relatively autonomously and coordinate and supervise others. They are focused on growing the business, leading and developing strong teams, managing the Professional delivery of sales and services in a salon environment and implementing marketing activities.

Entry Requirements

A satisfactory completion of a Language, Literacy & Numeracy test and the attendance at a
pre-enrolment interview is required to identify the aptitude of the applicant for the course.

Pathways

This course has some common units shared in other nationally recognised courses. A credit transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be available in related courses such as a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and/or other equivalent or further qualifications in BSB training package.
